Default Guage Cluster

Well I have the DX Cluster with no RPM Gauge, so which Cluster goes in there where I don't have to mess or deal with miles?

Anything from an EK should be plug and play.

EX cluster, SI cluster, Type R cluster, Spoon Cluster etc

Yeah what CVCR said
BTW LX models come with the tack (at least eg's do)... And they might be a cheaper option than buying a ex or a si one...

So what about the mileage part or does that stay on the car when you remove the cluster?

I love the type R gauge but how will this work because on a DX my mileage is on the bottom and trip meter on top and this one is switched?

Pretty much when you swap clusters you are stuck witht he mileage on the donor, just mark down or take a pic of them when they swap over, both so you remember and if you sell the car down the road you can prove the actual mileage. Ex clusters are actually pretty cheap, and Si is just like $100, ctr is going to be expensive, around $300, and a Spoon cluster is going to cost you well over $1000. Crv clusters are also direct fitment, usually relatively cheap, about the price of an si, and not a lot of people have them (they glow amber and the whole cluster is all amber numbers). Otherwise you can use a gsr, itr, ls, etc. cluster, just it won't all fit and you have to fab up something to fill in the gaps.

Man I don't know what to do. Ive limited it down to an Si Cluster or a CRV Cluster, because the Amber would look good with my Red Civic, but an Si would be nice too, but Im swapping a GSR engine in my car not a B16. Well?

But everything in the crv cluster is amber, the rpm bar across the top and stuff is amber. It is just hard to find a crv cluster from a manual.

Here's one on HT, decent price, get him down a lil lower and it is a good deal.
