Default Headlight color

I am looking for a certain type of headlights for my civic. I have the regular ones now (the natural light looking ones). I am looking for the type that the color is kind of fluorecent or like the light looks like the light coming from a white led. What type of light bulbs are these?

Do I have to get 2 pairs? Like one for the low beams and one for the high beams? Are both the same socket type?

Pardon my ignorance if I'm incorrect, but I believe you'll need to get projector housings for the HID's to fit into. Then, the answer is yes, you will need highs and lows, but I'm thinking most kits come with them...?

Projector housings? Is that becuase they are made for projector type headlights? If I bought these headlights: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...4281739&rd=1,1
then would I be able to just install the HIDs without any kind of kit?

Then why are these so cheap: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AME WA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=180047210130&rd=1&rd=1
Are they the same?
And do you have to have a conversion kit? If so is that because they require more voltage or something??

OKAY calm down, everyone!! This is how it goes:

HIDs are lightbulbs!!! They come in a kit that includes 2 bulbs and two ballasts to power them up! That is all!!! You can get any size of bulb to fit your car's headlights
Projectors are a TYPE of housing!!! all it is is like the headlights of a BMW or Audi that has a glass bulb that controls the light passing through them. I have projectors AND HIDs running through them...

YOU DO NOT NEED PROJECTORS TO HAVE HIDs!!! You can keep your stock headlights and put a HID kit in them... or you can get projectors but I reccommend getting HIDs because projectors do not allow alot of light through...

As for brightness of HIDs I say you should get 6kelvin bulbs because they are incredibly white and bright... 7k is more blue and 8k is pretty dang blue.

And that ebay set of bulbs you showed are not HID bulbs... you dont just plug and play for them... you need a HID kit that has both bulbs and ballasts... DO NOT SPEND LESS THAN 200 BUCKS ON A HID KIT... and dont get it from Ebay....
