ok dont hope to piss too many people off with this post, but with upgrading headlights a possible upgrade i have these questions

[ol][*]HID's are really bright lights, correct? how do i reduce glare?[*]what is retrofitting[*]what are the specifics of projector headlights? what are they really, what do they do?[*]are halo lights differant then projectors?[*]are those headlights with the color LEDs in em any good?
[/ol]appreciate it, and hope the barrage of questions doesnt make anyone too mad :)

thanks a lot for the reply! :)

what im still confused on,

[ol][*]retrofitting seems quite complicated, is there any other way to reduce glare?[*]being the very lazy person i am, does anyone run HID's without any modification to their stock housing? is it SO terrible?[*]still confused on projectors, are they basically normal headlights with a differant look?
[/ol]

RE: headlight information

the projector projects the light from the bulb in a different way, with mine its super white almost bluish, and i think its super brirght, others say its dimmer. And the halos have NOTHING to do with light output, they are strictly for looks and are just little rings of light that go around the headlights. They are just for looking cool.

RE: headlight information

ok so do the projectors meerly change the color of the bulb? or can they be used to reduce glare with buying HIDS?

[ol][*]Nope, not really[*]I'm sure people do. And I'm sure the glare is terrible... and it's not good to blind other drivers[*]They reflect the light in a different way than conventional lights[/ol]this will either help you greatly or confuse you more
