Default help/ideas

ok well i just wanna start out by saying that i have been reading some posts and like your guy's advice.

Well i just recently bought a 94 honda civic ex. the guy i got it from lowered it, how much idk. he put and intake, headers, and exhaust on it along with a strut bar(i think thats what they are called) in the front and in the trunk. it is a 5speed with 250k miles on a sohc vtec motor... it runs great for now, but when i need to replace it should i rebuild it or buy a diff motor? any suggestions? also i seem to bottom out alot when i am on a bumpy road i am not sure if this is normal for a lowered car(sorry for the dumb question). also the stereo was stolen and in the process messed up the glove box and the ac/heater head unit part... and i can turn the ac on it blows air but not cold air? any ideas why? also i am looking to try and get a little more power out of it... while not losing to much mpg... also the cars body has alot of little dings and dents, is there an easy way to get them out or? i am also want to try and do some cool DIY mods, interior or exterior, i am a student and dont have alot of money but it would be great to have a plan for this car and start on it asap...

thanks for your time and suggestions!

You might want to buy another d series engine if yours dies and you dont want a hard swap. It bottoms out because the car is too low, no its not normal you might want to raise it up a bit. As for the ac question, maybe a component of the ac isnt working anymore. And theres lots of little DIY on this forum that are not expensivee to do.

not much difference between the cai and sri. won't notice a huge difference in mpg or hp besides colder air that the cai brings in. keep the sri

are they lowered on adjustable coilovers? if not then you won't be able to adjust them. maybe you should invest in a new set of lowering springs or coilovers if your annoyed with the problem. maybe do the D16Y8. it would be harder to do a different engine because of all the parts differences and fitting it in, won't be much of a "plug and play"
