why would you put fiberglass quarter panels on anyway?

Thanks guys.. i am planning to give the car to the guy who asked 800$ to get it done.... i thought of going thru insurance (which will save me 300$), but i am scared of this coming up in Carfax? do you guys think these things will come in carfax ?

 

i am so very sorry for opening this old thread back up but im new to civic forums and i just saw this online VIS Racing Fiberglass Fenders - Quest (Rear) for 92-95 Honda Civic at Andy's Auto Sport its a fiberglass quarter panel. how would this be put on since it cant be welded? im 15 and thinking about getting a 92 hatch and building a b16 and droping it in my juniour year. Ive currently own a POS 95 f150 but cool thing about it its got the 5.0 in it. but i love tuners and vtec especially.
