HID 2007 SI CIVIC
Can anyone tell me a really good HID kit to get? I have a local person that will install everything for $400 but I have know idea what brand he is using. After reading everything online it starts to get a bit confusing. However the same person will install any kit for $50. Can anyone give me some good advice for a HID for a 2007 SI Civic?
Thanks...

well , dont go cheap with HID's. u get what u pay for. if i were u i would probably go with something for around 6000k for the most light output. other than that i would rather spend my money in something else.first of all check the brand of that HID kit ur talking about, research
I got a set from a local shop for 350 and 220... I just put a kit in my buddy's Tahoe from a vendor named "Dong"... he sold his kit for 125 but HCF kicked him off or something... he's on civicforums though... great kit and great vendor.
Check out http://www.ignitedperformance.com/, their HID kits a really good. And overall a good company, alsoused by circuit cars.

Just so you know. 4300K is the MOST lumen or light output there is. The higher the K the less output. So 5000K is white, 6000 is a tint of blue 8000 is blue anything beyond (Ive seen up to 14000K) has a tint of violet.
Black lights have 100000K and have no useable light output. anything below 4300 is yellower.
just a heads up, I have 6000 because I liked the blueish color, and didnt have to sacrifice too much light output
