HID help
 

Hey,

I got some HIDs installed. The guy did a good job but there a little spotty. Would it be because there is dust/crap inside the housing? They are Lumenia HIDs if that makes any difference.

hey you got hid's! nice!....im not sure about the spots tho, i dont think dust would cause that unless its really dirty, i would just go back to the guy and ask him just to make sure

Where did you buy these HIDs from, how much did you pay, and where's the pics?

They where from a local retailer. Uploading pics now. They are super bright and where $400 CDN. I think the lenses are super dirty on the inside + some scratching and over spray. I might get new lens covers that are clear.

Now this pic is crap. They are a hell of a lot brighter in person and with a proper camera. I think they may just need some aiming:

Now this is just a question, but why didn't you just spend $250 and buy the HID bulbs from Polo's contact on here? Just wonderin because I'm thinkin of goin to HID.

Was just easier to get them local. If theres any problems I can just go back to the guy and he will replace any part w/o having to order a new kit. I haven't heard terriblly good things about McCulla HIDS (sp?) But the 5th gen may be better. I found out the problem with mine is it just doesn't have projectors. Ill have to pick some up.
