I am using TechOne ballasts and have had them for over a year and are working fine through both summer and winter, rain and snow. *knock on wood*

Pretty much goes by the price, if they are too cheap dont even think about it, also look to see if they have a warranty

there really arent as many out there as you think. Many are the same kits just renamed by different companies.

Can I ask why you want 10,000K HIDS?? The point of them is to create more light which is best achieved at close to 5000K, a little higher to change the tint of them but to go 10,000K to me is a "ricer mod". If you solely want the color change then stick with a cheap set of Halogen bulbs and save yourself a few hundred bucks for a real mod.

+1 if you want light output and to be able to see in the rain go with 4300k, they are the brightest. the higher up you go and the bluer you get, the worse your visibility gets

Oznium had some of the BEST HID kits i've seen, and at a decent price too.. But they don't sell them anymore due to legal issues and whatnot. The best i'd say was 6000k, they had good light output, with a hint of blue tint to the light.

I have some Xentec brand and they been working awesome. Been having them for about 9 months already and no problems. With 8k bulbs. They look so awesome on the rain. Mine have the whitish and bluish color to it. Not to white or too Blue. I got mine for about 140.00 But Ive seen them for about 100.00 now.

I didn't get the 6k because those suckers are really bright but they look sogreat at night. So thats why I went with 8k

I'll put up some pix Tomorrow ...If it's not raining to take some Pix.

I just took this pictures...8k..Hope this helps you out Bro...Don't let the pictures FOOL you..They don't look that purple..I need a better digital Camera...lol
