I thought BMW had 4600K as their standard.

most factory HIDs are between 4k and 6k. 8K seems to be the most popular choice with aftermarket kits; I believe 7k is the highest you can go before you technically start losing visibility. I have 8k's and I love the things personally; I'd have gone with 6k but I'm a ricer and I need the blue lol.

Also, I believe oznium has a link to an HID sales page (technically oznium doesn't actually sell them) which seem to be decent quality.

Also, just so you know, putting HID lights in halogen reflector housings is going to create a lot of glare and more or less blind other drivers; keep that in mind.

i have a old set of HIDs from my 99civic. i upgraded to some bixenon hids and no longer need them...
ill let em go for 60shipped if paid thru paypal and in the US 48states...
they are 8K HIDS from flowlighting that i bought from oznium awhile ago. the bulbs have very little use on them since i switched to 8K hids last winter and havent driven the 99civic much. and i also had one ballast replaced thinking it was bad but it wasnt it was a bad bulb but i already swaped out the ballast so i sent them back the old ballast and bad bulb thats when i switched to 8K bulbs.

the glares not to bad at all...
i would suggest adjusting your headlights after installing the hids mainly turn the bulbs down alittle.
this is the only pictures i have of my 8K and 6K bulb comparison. the 8K hid is on the drivers side. and the 6K is on the passenger side.
