does anyone know how to install a factory hood deflector on a 2002 civic? I have one, but no idea how it goes on.

 

you mean a bug guard?

if so its either self taping screws from the bottom of the hood, or 3M double sided tape, or even a combo of the 2.

the deflector has 4 holes, two out on each side on the top. I can't see these as being intended for screws, as they would be very obvious. There aren't any holes in the wraparound part.
Wouldn't the self-tapping screws normally be underneath the hood?

most bug guards attach from under the hood.
just at least send me a link to a picture of what you got...
