For the shift **** you just have to twist that thing "lefty lucy" It takes a lil muscles but I was in traffic once and got mad and pull on it and it started to untwist. Nice stress remover. There is a guy with a 88 civic hb at school and his is so loose it jsut pulls off like buttter. Everyone always steals it.
