im having some members here helping me out with geting tires but i have an entire set of locking lug nuts that i want to keep since there slim and perfect for aftermarket rims.

well i want to clean up the current chromed/rusting lug nut and paint them the same blue color as the body. I dont want the paint to chip as i tighten them when i install the rims.

so what do u guys suggest, what type of paint could i use that would prevent the lug nuts from chipping as i use the lug nut wrench to tighten them up.

powdercoat dont paint it will hold up better. But either way its going to chip just paint will as soon as you put on a socket to tighten them up. Just fork out the extra cash and get some anodized ones.

either muteki, gorilla, sr48's or sr35's will do.

and don't worry, I've ordered plenty of parts from them before. Great prices.

You could get a set of Muteki Lugs on eBay for cheap and they come in black.

get some spray paint, spray it into the cap of the spray paint and then get a brush and paint the lug nuts after they are tightened and on the car.

I don't think it is a good idea. Yea, they will look good, but as soon as you take the lugs off again, there goes the paint. And you'll have to re-paint them again and again.

If you feel like painting the lugs by hand every time you touch the lugs with the socket, then go for it!
