I need Opinions on wheels please

Someone is selling a set of Enkei's 17" with tires, about 85-90% life left. Now i dont know if i should buy them and they might not looking good on my 2000 hatch because they might be too big. I need some opinions. oh btw, they're 300 for the set do you think its a good deal?
Thanks.

It's a good deal, but I'm thinking they would be too big. I'm gonna get 16's for my car, and I think 16's look just right. But it's all personal preference.
But yeah, 300 is a really solid price with tires included at 85-90%. As long as the rims aren't scratched to sh*t.

thanks for the Opinion, i think so too. I'll just stick with 15's or 16's

yea, if you had a coupe forsure, but on a hatch thats a lil too big. Thats a nice price to

I see 17s on hatchbacks that look just fine. I think for the money you might as well give them a try. If you end up not liking them, I bet you could get your money back out of them.

$300 is a great price. I haven't seen any hatches with nice 17's. I think biggest I've seen is 16's.

googled and found these two. Doesn't look bad at all, but definitely needs to be lowered

I have 17 on my hatch and i had 18's, all i have to say is 17 is where you should stop.

16's the max period on a civic....but for 300 is a steal...me personally buy them sell them for 400 or 500 but some 16's =]

I wouldn't say 16 max for a civic. 17's max for 6th gen and 7th gen coupe's, 18's for 8th gen coupe's.

Maybe 17's on 5th gen coupe's. But you're right on the rest, 16's with low profile tires.

15" all the way.

I have 17" and on Tuesday i'm gonna be receiving some 15" wheels I just bought.

17" rims was the WORST mistake I have ever made on my car, and one of the worst financial decisions I have ever made. I hope that you take this advice seriously and get something comfortable yet sporty. 16" is where I draw the line.

17" may look good, but they ride like crap. If you want to feel every bump in the road and ruin a rim after driving it through 1-2 potholes, then by all means waste your money.

Even 16" will be uncomfortable... just not as uncomfortable as 17".

Remember, it's not looks that matters, it's functionality. I'm sure you can 15" find wheels that you will like and will look good.

OH, and not to mention, 15" rims and tires are way less expensive than 16"+.
