Default I was wondering...

I've been thinking of throwing some HIDs in my projectors but I was looking at a diagram of how to hook them up and I was wondering when you put in HIDs, don't you lose functionality of your front parking/turn light & side marker......because the diagram that I was looking at showed the HIDs being plugged into the stock harness, but the parking and side marker lights weren't plugged in to anything?? Can someone explain this to me please??

your turn signals/parking lights should have a different wiring harness.

With hid you only lose your high beams, unless you buy the more expensive bi xenon lights

ORIGINAL: bks85

I've been thinking of throwing some HIDs in my projectors...

If he's got projectors he's got seperate high's. On mine I simply ran the power wire that would normally gotto the bulb out of the back of the housing to the power wire plug for the ballast and then grounded the ballast to the chassis.

Ooops. Well what he meant is that since your gonna have to use the stock headlight harness. And your gonna be plugging in the hids off that, your gonna have to run a separate power wire to run the highs. (i thinks thats what he meant)
