i think it would look sick as hell, im not much into spoilers like that either but i think once u get ur body work and paint done, and get that all painted, it would look pretty sick.

I think that you should wait a while and then post, when painted to match the car. That way nobody can talk crap. Personally I think it may have potential when all done. For the 3rd brake light that way I can get rid of the terrible stock one.

^ It's not a crime. It's all about personal preference (just like everything in general). Some people just get freaked out by the word though. I personally love the factory ex and si spoilers, as well as some trunk line lips on coupes. I like duckbills on hatches, and I occasionally like tsunami spoilers (like this one) depending on the way the whole car looks.

I feel that the inherent problem with the word spoiler is that the root word of it is Spoil which means to ruin. But then you can call it a wing and it sounds like you're talking about a plane.

but ya some spoilers flow with the car where others(the ones that look like park benches) do not. Basically if it flows it looks nice and if it doesnt and creates an overall choppy unpleasant line on the car it will get insulted and said that it "spoils" the car. =D

I read this thread just to read the comments too haha. And personally, I don't like it. Like others have said, it really has no functionality. But then again, I'm one of the guys that doesn't like spoilers on hatchbacks at all.

Plus your gonna get mostly negative reviews on here with an unfinished product lol.

IMO another thing to ruin civics. But hey, there seems to be a ton of civic drivers that, judging by their cars, would buy that.
For civic coupes, either stock spoiler or no spoiler.
