I have a 97 civic LX and im thinking about getting the dash painted as well as the doors upholstered. My question for you guys is, is there anything that I can do to help get this process started, is it possible i could get this job done myself? What type of paints should be used and how would i even go about upholstering my doors? Any input would be much appreiciated. Pics coming Soon

i dont know if you are looking into something like that, but if you are i can let you know what spray paint i used and all... let me know what you think.

 

it looks pretty decent for being a spray job, what kind did u use?

white- krylon plastic bond stuff, not sure the exact wording haha
black- duplicolor vinyl and fabric

 

if you look in our DIY section theres a DIY on painting small parts, its the same paint and same process you would use for your dash, the best paint you can use though would be automotive paint, i used a gun and automotive paint to do my accents and that stuff sticks, it would be hell trying to take it off. ..this is a thread someone made about covering your arm rests on the door
