Cool JDM headlight fitment problem... help??

OK... I bought JDM headlights off ebay and had everything ready to be installed today. When I went to plug in the parking lamps and the turn signals, the holes in the headlight assembly didn't hold the connectors. One actually fit, but not very tight.... the other one wouldn't even keep the lamp in the housing.

Is this a common problem for aftermarket lights? Any suggestions?

They are supposedly JDM lights. Maybe they are some ebay crap?

Any suggestions?

These are the lights I bought:

another person fooled by ebay's JDM postings. they are not JDM, JDM headlight go for about $500. they are just some no name headlights, but they are still decent. did you seal the headlights up, moisture may get inside the headlight.

as for the problem, i dont know what to say besides try putting them in again in every possible position. i have these ebay headlights on my civic, and have no problem fitting in the parking lights in.

1. not JDM...

2. you know they're twist lock sockets, right?

P.S. I reported the item to eBay as having an intentionally misleading title. I suggest you do so also. The more complaints that eBay receives, the more likely the seller is to get in trouble for listing it as "JDM". I think that if we can get people to help report these kind of listings, we might be able to get eBay to be more strict about using the term "JDM" in their listings eventually. I'm getting sick of seeing it and seeing people have problems from it.

1. At the bottom of the listing it says "report this item". Click it.
2. for the reason for report, select "listing policy violations"
3. for the detailed reason, select "misleading title".
4. for additional information, select "intentionally misleading or deceptive titles"
5. then paste the item number on the next page. this can be found in the top right hand corner of the listing

Yes, I know they are twist locks. The parking lamp holes are so big I can push it in without even having to line up the tabs. It is just a sloppy design. The turn signal holes fit better, but they don't really "lock" into place when turned.....you can turn them and get it to stay, but you can just keep turning it until it falls out again....probably fall out driving down the road.

For the parking lamp, the hole is so big that the tabs don't even have to be lined up to push in.... in other words, it wont hold in at all.
