Default LED license plate lights

ijust finishedthis new mod.Iremoved the original lights and replaced them with 4 blue leds through the plastic. Just one problem, i dont know if its legal or not. They shine pretty bright and some of the light shines on the bumper and the ground. I live in vancouver wa if that helps. So what do you think? Heres some pics to show what i mean.

blue lights are not legal anywhere in the states unless you are an emergency vehicle

LOL dito with both....
i got green led replacement bulbs in my stock locations and ive still had one cop complain about them but he thought they where burned out.LOL so i played stupid and just acted stupid like NO SIR I DIDNT KNOW they arent working. LMFAO

tho i get more complaints about my tint over my liscence plate.... tho they just think its a liscence plate cover cause i just wraped it and put a outter cover over it.... BUT im not gonna pull it until i get a actual ticket for it. LMFAO

tho for car shows it looks nice.......

how ya do them? just soldered some leds and drilled some holes in the plastic or what?

^ yea i hated my LEDs after a while too, had the ambers wired into my blinkers thouhg, which looks sick, and then the blues wired into my underbody neons, sick as well, but during the day i think the LEDs looked like [:'(]and they were fake CF, so looking back thats even worse, now i'm just rocking the black M3's w/o LEDs and i'm lovin

sorry bout that offtopic.....do you hvae the license plate LEDs on a switch? Or when do they come on? Maybe they'd look sick if you are parked or are sure no cops are around, but kinda risky if they're on all the time
