I don't want to sound like an idiot, but I attempted to remove the plastic clips and ended up breaking off the sides of them. I decided to end the project there in fear of causing more damage to the wheel well. I think it was dumb on Honda's part to not make the parking lights accessible from the top like the headlights. I'll probably have to get the aftermaket projector housing professionally installed if I'm having this much trouble already. The funny thing is I can do just about any type of maintenance on my Yamaha R6 thanks to instructional DVDs, but just little things on my Civic are a hassle. Very frustrating!

OH those parking lights... what I did was took a screwdriver and wrapped it in some seran wrap and wedged it between the wheel well on the outside and the inner fender... Here's what I am saying... You just pry it enough to get your hand in there... you will cut your hand and it will hurt, but you will not harm the rubber lining.

Man, that's a lotta work for a damn parking light. But if I get the ANZO housing, maybe I'll never have to worry about that ever again. I'm assuming that everything is accessaible from the top in the engine bay with the aftermarket headlight housing or am I wrong?

No you'll still have to do that when that light goes out... but there is only one parking light and it will take a very long time to burn out... it's been about 8 months and I havent changed the bulb so far... the only Silverstar Product I like....
