lighting question pleaze

The only civic interior I have ever seen at night is my own civic. My question is, in the 96-98 civic, USA market, do the letters light up right beside the shifter in an automatic? because mine don't if they do. And I found a pic of one that does but I'm not sure if it's an european civic or not.

Mine does... if you are in the drivers seat they light up like a christmas tree. They are on the left side of the shifter... they should light up... you might as well convert that to red too.

what did you use for that. that looks nice. Also in the scion tc they have these sweet light up cupholders... anything aftermarket for that?

that's not my interior. Just a random image I found. I find that interior quite ugly. I just wanted to know about the shifter lights.

it does, but the light is spread a little uneven.

It'll be a little unsafe not lightling up during the night, wouldn't you think?...;)... I'm glad you found out that it lights up; now you're safe. Safety comes first... haha :)

I don't think it was ever "un-safe" because I could read the shifter on my gauges.
