Well I just recently bought a mugen front lip, type r grill and some eyelids and i got everything on this wknd without a hitch except for the lip. I thought that would be simple and when I began to screw the sides of the lip to the bumper (following mill$ DIY) and noticed it was slightly to small for my bumper. I tried to stretch it and it began to crack so what should i do to try to get it to fit? Is there anything i can do?

 

See if they sent you the right lip and check because some lips are meant only for sedans and some for coupes weven the it's the same car they can be different. Call the place up where you got it from. Sounds to me like it is not made for your car.... unless you got it off ebay and it's a knocl off then this would be normal but if it is real from a vendor i would call and tell them what is going on give them the part number and see if it is actually the right part, check other sites too because the people you ordered it from could think it's for your car but it might not be.

 

whats it made out of? abs, poly, fiberglass?

 

i went out today to try it again and for some reason it fit ok so i went ahead and screwed it in and its fine. Thanx for the help tho guys
