i want to buy aful lip kit for my 98 ex coulpe but i was wondering how to install them. do i need to screw the lips onto the body of the car or do i tape them?

 

either screw them or do both. my buddy lost a rear lip on the freeway because he just taped it on

 

you definitely need to screw them to the car. I know HMotorSports sends the mounting hardware with the lip kits, and I'd assume StreetStyler does, too. I'm not sure with the ebay kits.

yup u need to definalty screw it on. what alot of people do is tape it on first so the lip stays in placethen screw it on. its really easy its like 4 screw that hold it secure. and if ur gettin a back lip make sure u put one of the mounts near the muffler so the back lip doesnt rub and rattler against ur muffler.

That would be a Type-R lip on ballin's car. And you really don't need to paint the lip to match if you have a black car. The blacks probably won't match up perfectly (I have abs plastic lips that don't match exactly, but I'm not sure on poly lips), but who cares? The shades of black are close enough.
