Default LIPS... HELP PLZ!?!?!

every time i talk about getting a body kit, i get alot of negative feedback... most ppl suggest to go with lips for a "cleaner, less ricey look" id like to consider that but when i look at buying lips, they usually dont show them on the car and they dont look like they would make much of a difference... does anyone have any before/after pics involving a car with front/rear lips?

The lip just kind of sets it apart from the rest of civics while keeping its class and dignity.

Heres what I could find for your gen

Also one more.
