Hmm, that would work. I'm wondering if I'll be able to put that in since the button on the stock shifter is on the side.

yeah you can, it basicly re-routes the button.

If you take the handle off the shifter you will notice that the button is actually not on the side, it is on top. Take a close look at the inside of the stock handle while you are in there and you'll understand how it works.

hey dont feel bad ive got a 98 honda civic ex coupe automatic and i have the same shifter **** kannar has and it works for me you just have to adjust it right and tighten the set screws down i just left mine loose cause it was hard to put it in park why i have no idea but i promise that **** will work.

So, OP, do you have pictures of this new fangled "stick-o-matic" of yours? I'm just curious, because, IMO, it's impossible to make an automatic look like a stick. I look for the clutch pedal.
