Yea, at some point. Right now I'm finding a VTEC engine to put into it cause it's just a base.
And cause I messed up the 4th cylinder ;x
I want to repaint it, but there is a couple scratches on the driver side due to a drunken weekend...

Negative, the engine I messed up was not a VTEC.

My Civic get dirty too easy from the wind blowing sand from the ocean onto it. That's what ya get for living on the beach. ;/
And in my 4th cylinder the rod bearing broke in half and one piece was on top of the other piece and roughed up everything in side. So instead of it being smooth, it's all rough and has indents in it. So I have to either rebuild it, or buy a new engine. I choose a new engine, a VTEC. Since that one isn't a VTEC. When I have time to make it down to the Auto shop I will get pictures.

Yea, why know that ^ That's a VTEC engine. If you had a base model it'd be a D16y7. The y8 is VTEC enabled. If you have an EX in the USA then you have VTEC, period.

Clean though. Future plans?

Yeah, the y8 is vtec... it just doesn't say it on the valve cover (not to mention the crossover is extremely hard to hear on single cams)

So are you planning on throwing another single cam in there, or are you going with a dohc?

(and as a side note, the y8 only revs to 6300rpm? Why is the redline so much lower than the z6?)
