Default Needing some help with my 94dx coupe

Ive got a 94 dx coupe with a d16 in it. i know these arent the greatest motors but i cant afford a new one right now. any ideas on some good mods i could throw in it for pretty cheap?

the BEST thing to do with a single cam is TURBO/SUPER CHARGER, anything else is worthless..........

I think your engine is D15b7. Yeah, there's not a lot you can do with it. You can add an intake, header, and exhaust system but you won't see the gains you want. Turbo/supercharger is about the only way to go.

no it may not be a d16 but i know its DOHC. not a single

If it's DOHC and a 1.6L, you're looking at a B16 from a jdm civic or a '99/'00 USDM Civic Si (or '99/'00 CDM Si-R). They're all about 160hp and very little torque (I think something like 120. Not much).

its gotta be that i know its DOHC and 1.6. now that thats settled what can i do to upgrade it?

Turbocharge it. You could try to do a naturally-aspirated build, but you're still not going to make too much power, especially for what you're paying. The only honda engine I'd try to do an N/A build over a forced induction build on would be an H22.

Go outside and pop the hood on your car and find out what the engine code is so we know what kind of motor you have. Kthxbai.

Your motor has a stamp on the side of the block that will tell you what it is.
