If i was getting paid to put that on my car, maybe but to spend my own money on it......NO! my opinion is that this is a bad idea. hope that helps.

 

i think it could look good but have the painter do something original let him have fun with the paint dont have the exact picture of him just vinaled on.

 

i think it would be a cool ieda i mean it not every day that i see a crazy car, thats fast as well, and i was going to leave the paint design up to the painter. but i was asking yall what ideas i should with the paint for example i could do the cheetos guy fur all over my car like cheetha print, or all black with him on the side, and i was going to have him air brushed on to the car on vinled. im glad that every one is giving there oppions, but might i ask why do most of you think it a bad idea? but trust me it will look nice.

most of us think its a bad idea because most people lean towards the clean and sleek style. if not full blown jdm most people go with simpler clean lines, solid colors, tasteful accents and stuff that fits that over all style well. and you're talking about a very off the wall one of a kind sorta paint job. one of a kind is risky and some people just wont like it, but then on top of that the cheetohs guy? its an extreme paint job with a (in my opinion) tacky theme. if you just want something custom go with that orange and black thing. if you want a cheetah on it, get a real cheetah. something with some abstract tribal lines, some creative mixing of art stylesand a cheetah could look good but not the cheetohs guy.

 

get some really awesome custom art worked thats really detailed with air brushing and all that and it will look fine. Its your car and if thats what you like go for it Should do a thread on the progress would like to see

 

cheetohs theme FTL! im not one to try and give negative critiism, but honestly the scheme you're planning out sound like something the frito lay corporation would bring with to trade shows to try and "reach todays youth". its the equivilant of somebody paying thousands of dollars to build one of those redbull trucks on their own to drive it around and not even get payed for it. i think people would assume you were just part of some promotion and being paid to drive it, not that its a custom car that you poured your heart and soul into building. id say if you want a crazy paint scheme, get something with a real cheetah done artistically like baron suggested. also, a 6" cheetoh as a shift **** would probably end up looking like a big orange turd sticking out of your center console. just a thought...

 

Hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaaaaaaaa! I agree don't go Cheeto Style! Weren't you going to do the anime job?

 

If you put a ton of money into a car doing a crazy theme and extrmely riced out mods, be prepared to NEVER be able to get any of the money out of the car that you put in to it if you one day decide to sell it (that is if someone even buys it). Keep in mind that doing all of these mods will in fact cause your car to depreciate in value drastically.

I say Cheetos theme, while it is pretty creative, is definately FTL.[sm=badidea.gif]

It's your car so do what you like but keep in mind that you'll probably like it for a few weeks or even a few months, but what happens if one day you wake up and say "What the Hell did I do to my car?!"

That's just my $0.02 take it or leave it.
