regarding the second set: I'm sure they are black, if they are not black they would call them "charcoal" or something. they are Recaro Speed knockoffs. The Recaros are AWESOME seats, super comfy, but who knows how good these are. You won't find out until you've bought them.

ORIGINAL: Peg_Leg

its suede leather like the seats in a 2002-2005 si
the REAL type R seats are imitation suede; these are knockoffs and they appear to be cloth

not that there's anything wrong with that. cloth is fine.

regarding fitment, you will order sliders and brackets for YOUR car, and it will be a very easy install. 4 bolts, 20 minutes or so.

Ya I am 90% sure they are just cloth. Hopefully they look something like the ones in your picture when I get them though thats what I would like. Other then the seat belt hole I know thats going to just be black. Thats good news regarding the fitment question thanks much MXS. And yes I realize the recaros would be awesome but as for now I am looking for just something that will hold me in a little better and maybe if I am lucky be a little bit more comfortable to sit in that wont cost me all the rest of my upgrades as well. (I started pretty much stock so I have a whole lot to buy lol )

As for the Bomz Racing site thanks for the link but I am looking for something a little less flashy atm. I really like the red stitching though. My aunt actually does upholstery work so I am going to have her do my back bench the same way as the fronts. With just normal cushions though.

Buy the second ones...

....then tell me how they are. I've been eyeing them for a long time, but am timid to buy because I have a feeling they won't be exactly what I want

How about some secondhand leather ones out of a s2000, My mate just got some for his del-sol, they look amazing, fitted in easily, and above all are comfy to sit in whilel still giving support.

Thats good news regarding the fitment question thanks much MXS.
actually now that I re-read it, they say "universal brackets" ---- I don't know if I would trust those?

I really like #2 and #3. I think the leather like others said will slip n slide and eventually disolve away and when it gets hot your going to burn

POLYTHING you said they carry those at pepboys? I might have to go check them out. And as for the type r seats from a honda. Yes I agree they look good and would be much better but I am low on the funds and would like to buy other things as well for my car.
