Hey everybody, I'm getting a new paint job in the next couple months, and I'm boucing between three different options, so I was hoping you could give your opinions. The car is a 94 ex coupe, with an all-stock body except for Z3 fenders, and I definately want to have a red on black theme, as those are my two favorite colors. The first option is to paint the body a blood red, but paint the hood black. Then get a black Type R-lip, paint the slits inside the front bumper black as well, and get a black stripe along the side. The second option is to paint the car the same way, except that instead of painting the hood a solid black, the sides of the hood are red, and the middle is black, in sort of a V-arrow shape. And finally, the third option is the same as option 2, except that I'd paint the roof and trunk lid black as well. So anyway, what do you guys thinnk?

 

i would paint the whole car one-color, but after all no ones rite when it comes to visuals, its all on wut u like

 

my opinion is all one color, not a bright flashly color, but one honda would offer from the factory. they are clean colors and don't go out of style next weeklike graphics and wild paintjobs.

 

paint the car red, get a cf hood and that would look sick. go with some black with a polished lip rims, then add cf lips. that would be a sick lookin car.

 

I like the second one, because it doesnt sound too hard to do. The third one sounds pretty hard

 

i say paint the hood's "V" shaped portion black, as well as the roof of the car, the paint everything else red

 

I know most of you guys are a fan of clean and simple, and while I love the OEM body style, and want to avoid rice at all cost, I also want a somewhat unique looking ride with a bit of flash to it. A head turner.

paint it red and throw some carbon fiber at it! just my .02

 

I love carbon fiber, but that stuff is freaking expensive. I definately want to put carbon on it later, but for now, i'm on a budget, so I'm just gonna focus on getting it painted.
