paint your car look
Do you have an air compressor/paint guns/sandpaper/time/patience?
Look up Lewy2k's project or PM him, also jpnolan rattlecanned his, but id stay away from that.....
Lewy used a paint gun/compressor, which arent cheap, my dad does body work and paint so I know basics of it, its all sanding sanding and more sanding, along with having a compressor that wont flucutate pressure on you.

Psshhh, what's wrong with spraybombing a car? All the black on my mustang is rattle-canned, and it looks fine.
And in any paint job, the prep work will determine the outcome of the paint job. A great paint job with shoddy prep work will look bad and good prep work can make a bad paint job look better.

This is My BF's mustang We just painted His brother has a paint booth in his garage...
There is not 1 single flaw in the paint ANYWHERE we spent countless hours prepping the body sanding and everything to make it perfect. After it was done there was also a lot of time in Wet sanding and buffing.
Like Reaper said it's all in the way your prep your car. If you don't prep it right it will look like poopy.
Painting a car with a roller or brush will look awful. Kid at my school has a Ranger he lifted like a foot (it is 2wd so it is useless) and he has painted the truck a few diferent colors. At one point he mixed rhino liner with black paint and rollered it on, couldn't dent the truck, but it looked terrible. He kind of sanded it off (didn't take much time prepping) and brushed on blue... looked terrible with all the lines. So now his color right now is he sanded it somewhat and actually used a gun and sprayed black on it. It turned out better than all the other colors, but because he didn't prep it looks bad up close. Silly rednecks.
If you can try to get some small body pieces from a junk or salvage yard to practice a bit before you jump into the real deal.
There's a tutorial about spray painting here: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=72342

Meh, like I said, all the black on the exterior of my car is spraybombed. Also, I might have spraybombed my bike twice. Both times you couldn't tell it wasn't done with a gun. It's all in personal ability, knowledge, and experience.
^Those will help, but there is no way it will compare to a paint job done the correct way in a booth. I do aerosol art so I know a thing about spray cans. With a lot of wetsanding and buffing it will look pretty good, but only for a while. Also, doing small areas of a car is a little easier than an entire car.
