Why not buy honda oem hubcaps? it would cost about the same used as your materials.

i had just the steelies for couple of days while i painted the wheels.and they are already black btw. LOOKED DUMB IMO...horrible

i dont want OEM or "stock looking" hubcaps that have honda wrote on em' thats why i painted them in the first place...

i was goin to buy new hubcaps from autobone and paint them ..but woulda been a waist.
would of painted mine black but after seeing my car with no wheel covers decided to go with the "gunnmetal" ( didnt want chrome at all)

not buying rims till end of winter

new wheel covers= 30-40 bucks
...what i spent...
dark metalic paint = $7 from nappa
sandpaper= about .99 per sheet

flame all you want..but i like having a "custom" car and upgrading anything on my vehicle..(also i have a pic of black rims on my car in my profile)

thanks for you comments..more plz

custom

adjective
1. made according to the specifications of an individual [syn: custom-made

ya i call it custom.
or not "store bought"...taking it beyond and to what i want out of it. just something fun i did that took a couple hours in a garage.
im not saying i have a "custom" car...but i am saying the small details i did are custom.

think what you would do with a can of spraypaint..you know what i did lol
my wheels do spin..all four
thanks for the comments.

We're not bashing, i just think it's a waste of time and effort to paint them, especially considering you're about to buy new rims. and your numbers are wrong, I said a set of USED OEM covers. I could get a set from a junkyard for nothing, literally. And I said get oem covers because, believe it or not, it increases resale value when time comes to sell.

like i said what would u do with a can o paint and time. i waisted my time painting my wheels lol

ya the problem with that is i dont like any of the 14" hubbs for honda...i did see some from a 99 civic that were 5 spoke and the same light color silver that mine were originally. i thought might look good...
