I thought they increase the downforce to the rear tires regardless of what kind of drive you have. Do you mean that the additional downforce isn't useful in fwd cars?

I recently bought a CRX with a missing spoiler. I'm probably just going to fill in the mounting holes, since that'll give me better mileage than having the extra drag at high speeds.

Well; technically you are right. However, on a FWD car, extra weight on the rear wheels doesn't help anything, since they are not drive wheels. It would be akin to throwing a large bag of sand in your trunk - all you are doing is adding weight (and in a completely inappropriate place, too).

I added a surf board to my civic and it got 60 horsepower, then I slapped NOS and AEM stickers everywhere and... swear to god, last night it flew.

I'm new here; so please forgive me. I tried using the search function but was unable to come up with anything.

WalMart here sells fake bullet hole stickers... Do those also increase horsepower?

Hm... it depends. If you get the ones with the A5-HR adhesive, in combonation with ApexI stickers, it creats a time flux where you can travel through time to the finish of the race in a matter of seconds! But if you just shoot your car the bullet holes create drag

Personally, I'd suggest getting a Folger's coffee can and taping it to the end of your muffler for the maximum increase in horsepower.

I can't believe that no one has brought up what they DO do. LOL They attract the attention of the Police. That is all they do though. So really its just not worth it.

Ot most civics they are pointless but for looks. Believe it or not it is actually possible for the rear of a FWD car to step out and need some extra force over it. However, high speed is needed for a spoiler to begin being useful, even on a rwd car
