everything is looking great....one question...what did you hook the shift light up to? do you have it just wired to the tach or what?

well i ended up keeping both my shift lights hooked up but i wired the shift lights power wire thru the AC switch so i can just shut it all down at highway cruising.
tho downfall is my AC switch doesnt lite up with the switch turned ON..... so i guess ill have to pull the ac panel sometime and check out the LED alittle more and do what i have too to make it lite up with the switch turned ON. just another little snag but it still works to flow power thru the switch.
i guess if you want a more low profile look then it would be fine as is.

the shift light is 3 wire hook up. POWER on the fuse box ignition activated, ground well anywhere.
and the tach RPM wire i just hooked it up to the wire under the hood near the drivers side firewall. its the only single wire thats pluged off. i just cut the plug off and crimped a wire to it and ran it thru the firewalls factory grommet. not to hard at all. i thought about the back of the cluster but its pretty tight area to work into with wire cutters and crimpers

eventualy ill cut the crimped wire and solder the wire solid and heatshrink tubing around it for a cleaner look.
just not high on the TO DO list... today was just a nice day out and i needed to instal the new magnetic drain plugs.

simply turn the dial on the shift light unit to the speed ya want it to turn on at [8D]

so you the shift light isn't just a led you wired up? you actually bought a shift light?. And then you hooked another LED off of that to your cluster for the up arrow light?

i just wanna understand how you did this, i wanna do somthing liek that with my car!

BUT the arrow was not part of the stock EX cluster. it was from a DX cluster.... tho you can put the lights where ever you want.

More work done today. finaly narrowed down my front POPING noise. old front lower strut bushings looked pretty cracked up and i was right
it looks like it was sliding out infact. definatly original. dam press sounded like a gun firing when that sucker poped out and it POPED HARD!!!!!! took me awhile to find the old bushing and socket.LOL
another 70bucks for 2bushings and the drivers side swap bar linkage and rubbers/bolts, mines bent from when i got it, ive just remembered it needed replaced when i had this odd poping starting.

new one looks so much better and my butt dyno is telling me the suspension feels tighter on the drivers side now. i was gonna do the passenger side as well tonight BUT its cold out in the shop laying on concrete,
plus i havent got the parts for my swap bar linkage, just waiting on 2 more rubber pieces was hoping they would come in saturday but i didnt get a call. so hopefully tomorow after work they will be in and ill replace that and the other strut bushing on the passenger side.

and a few days ago i changed the tranny fluid again and instaled motor and tranny magnetic drain plugs. ill probably change the fluid again in the tranny again next time i change the oil as well since by that time the magnets should be doing there job pretty well by then so fluid should stay cleaner after that.....
strong little suckers thats for dam sure!

yes theres alittle drip i think its the axle seals and i havent replaced them again yet... sometime this summer ill pull the axles and replace them AGAIN and this time use sealer around the outter case and thick grease around the axle shafts to hopefully get rid of the leak! at least i hope that will fix it. hope its not the case that is leaking from when i cleaned the tranny with brake cleaner and a tooth brush.... it could have loosed some of the old sealer maybe...

ok got alittle more done. got my train air horn kinda instaled....

dont worry the zip ties are mainly there for piece of mind.... not sure if the 3 bolts there are enough to hold it so i put afew more zip ties for security... just incase those bolts would fall out and lay the horns on the exhaust manifold....
and i only used the 2 larger horns for now, still trying to decide if i want to put the small crappy horn in the car or not just yet...
and i only got 1 two gallon air tank hooked up now, im making sure the hoses i got will hold 120psi for now and then ill put the second 2 gallon tank in the trunk....

http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...t=20dd0c48.flv

tho after some quick driving..... well ill see how the 2nd air tank will do but i think i might start looking for a cheap air compressor.... THINKING THAT IS... i was going for a cheap horn upgrade..
