When I got my car, it had a slight fender bender on passenger side, I'm replacing the fenders so thats not a problem. Where the door meets the fender, the paint I guess got knocked off, and there is some areas of rust. what is the method for removing that and cleaning up the surface, there is some very small areas of rust also under the door.

sand it till the rust is completely gone. if its a lot of rust, you might need a piece of sheet metal to make it look nice again
