first off, i should let everyone know that i am a newbie and i know how elementary this is going to sound. I am looking for a new set of rims and i have some questions. when i look at pictures, i cant tell what color gunmetal, hyper-black or hyper-light are. like, whats the difference between hyperblack and black. and hyper light and silver. and gunmetal, is taht like gray? does anyone have pictures of these on cars?? the pictures of just rims on websites seem misleading. also, i have a 2001 civic ex and i was wondering if i should 17's or 18's. any suggestions? the car is black with 15% tinted windows and i was wondering what color you guys would suggest.

 

hyper means more, hyper black is more more black, deeper black.
BLACK car? should go with WHITE rims, dont go with chrome.

17s would be perfect for a 01, and since your car is black, i would go with a darker color, gunmetal would look good,or just silver.. my car has gun metal finished rims if you want to see, black is just black, and hyper black has more of a gloss to it i noticed

 

i have a black 06 with tint, i also have some 18" "Gunmetal" black rims with a polished lip. the gunmetal is more a lighter black with almost a metalic flake(sparks). i went with these instead of the regular black because to me and on my car i think they look flat. i have some pictures posted in the sights and sounds section under my 06, or if u cant find them just let me know and ill post some pics for you

 

i was looking online and i found some bronze rims, do you think that would look good??

 

Yeah i have always waanted a either white or black car with bronze rims.....i think u should hit up those bronze
