rims off an integra
Hey guys, still haven't gotten my car yet...but I do know that my car has the 14 inch wheel covers and im not a big fan....but I dont really feel like spending the dough for nice rims. My friend has a 95 integra and he has 17s on it and has his factory 15" 5 spoke rims sitting around. He said I could take them off his hands for 50 bucks including tires. So I figure thats worth it, for the look and for the slightly larger tire width and lower profile tire. The main problem im seeing is that the stock integra rims have the integra logo on them...its not that big a deal, id just rather not have them there. I was wondering if theres a way to get those off. I don't know what type of decal it is, but I was thinking I could just scrape it off or something? Anyone have any ideas?
i dont know, but i bet its expensive as hell. the centercap in the acura wheel should pop out, and the honda one should pop in. im not 100% on this, but ive seen them like that, and i assume thats how they do it.
check ebay for those centercaps.......if not just check local junkyards........if u are goin to buy anything at the dealer u better bring some **** lube because.............well u get the idea.[sm=jawdrop.gif]
yeah, thats why i try to avoid dealers, they seem to decide a fair market price for a part and then triple it to get their retail....I'll figure something out, don't think I will do much better than 50 bucks for rims and tires
