Default rims, wheel covers, hubcaps...

Two of the four stock wheel covers on my 98 ex are really scratched and i was in the market for new ones. I don't know if i should just get a couple new stock ones like these http://www.partstrain.com/products/H...ml?sku=H261225 or get new wheels all together. I also don't want to spend a lot on wheels but the scrathces annoy me like crazy. Any advice???

humm i think you should eather go with the stock hub caps or buy some rims, you can get a really nice set of rims with tires and lugnuts for under $1000..just check rims shops for package deals, also check out local traders because you can sometimes find really good deal on used rims and tires that are mint

Just throw out the hub cap and let the steel show. Plus it give you weight deduction.

if u want those scratches to go away, just paint them....sand paper them down, primer, and spray paint them w/e color u want. $45 or however much it is for hub caps is a bit much...

Some of the wheel websites are blwoing out 15 and 16 inch rims and tires....like 500$ shipped for all 4.........you really cant beat that for Rims and Tires that are mounted and balanced.

Less aerodynamic though. That's why I don't have rims... the caps are aerodynamically amazing, takes like a second off my 1/4.

sandpaper = cheap
Duplicolor wheel paint, silver or gunmetal = five bucks
DIY = awesome!
