Default scratches and paint

i have a 96 silver honda civic dx and i have a couple of scratches on it. The largest one I have on it is on the passenger side. I believe someone keyed my car a couple months back. Why? don't know. Who? don't know. I was wondering if there is anything I can do other than to paint the entire car to get rid of the scratches. Most look minor, they don't hit the metal of the car. I tryed using Scratch X tht I bought from a car shop for 9 bucks but it didn't really do anything. Anyone have any sugguestions?

You could try to buff the scratches out with a buffer and some cutting compound. I think there is a thread about this in the detailing section.

ya that would be your best bet..go to a body shop and ask for some conpound, i no the stuff i used for my car was like $60 a bottle..but it worked AMAZING with a buffer, got out all the serface scratchs, unless you can stick your fingernail in it, if you can...then its to deep, but do check the other section
