Seat covers for 07 Civic LX with side airbags

Default Seat covers for 07 Civic LX with side airbags
Has anyone been able to get seat covers for Civic 07 w side airbags. Edmunds forum and my dealership advised not to put them on as they would interfere with side airbags operation. Fabric protector is the only suggested solution.

Any ideas?

I wouldnt mess with seat covers if you have airbags... really not a smart idea... I wouldnt trade looks for the safety of my passengers.
