I made a custom grille for the space below the front licence plate to protect my radiator and improve the look a bit.

Here's a before pic.

Here's the finished grille. Only cost me $10 Canadian to make it.

i did somthing similer to protect my rad, but its very un-noticable, after winter im gunna do what you did tho, looks good
