Default Shaving Antenna

Newly purchased 98 civic LX. Ready to remove my antenna on top of the A-pillar. Is there any writeups on this or can someone please walk me thought this one step by step.

why? You no likey the radio stations in your area? Or maybe you have sat radio like me where you don't ever turn on regular radio anymore. Um, its not fun. Your antenna cable comes down your front a pillar and goes directly to the radio. the simple solution is to unscrew the top half of the antenna and just cut the antenna cable inside. but then you have a nice gaping hole to let water freely run about the inside of your car. Have a body shop pro give you an estimate and take it from there as to wether or not you want to still do it. Shaving is not an amateurs game and you can royal f-up your car if you have no experience in doing this.

i actually would like to keep the local radio stations. I was wondering if I could shave the one off the a-pillar and bondo those holes up. Then still have my antenna somewheres else thats not as ugly. ??

I wouldnt recommend bondo on this project...just take it to a shop..unless u have a welder and sander...which then just get u a piece of metal and weld it over the hole then sand it down....a little hard for ppl that dont do it often
