Default Should I paint it?

Well, since I'm taking all the blue off my car, I need to choose a second color for my car besides black. After all, literally everything can't be black. So I was thinking of getting gold wrinkle paint engine enamel for my valve cover. I was thinking of doinga black base coat (so I can have black lettering) and doing the rest of the cover in gold. However, anybody with taste will probably agree with me that gold and polished aluminum don't look too pretty together. Well, not in large amounts, anyway. So I was thinking of painting my air intake tube and strut tower brace black to add a little contrast to the engine bay. Does anybody have anyopinions on this? Also, does anybody know a good place to get gold wrinkle paint. I haven't checked (yet), but I think it might be kind of hard to find. If not, I can always get some VHT black wrinkle paint and just spray gold engine enamel over it once it's dry.

On a side note, wouldn't painting your intake tube with heat-resistant paint help to keep the air colder, even if only slightly?

yes, it will be slightly cooler because it doesn't heat soak as much as with out it. i know it's a little common, but i say paint your valve cover the factory red color as well as your strut bar, black and red always look sick (hence my car)
