hey guys, when i bought my 99 SIit came with the hondaoem"lower" style spoiler. i want to put a hondaSI spoiler on it, but am afraid the holes arent the same in the trunk lid. anybody have any experience with the mounting holes in the trunk lid?

 

SO that is not an OEM style wanna be Then, because Si's don't come with the lower ones. I installed and OEM original from Honda spoiler but below the spoiler right behind the Brake light it says "CIVIC" engraved. Look under the trunk and take a look where the nuts are holding the spoiler. There might be a little marking on it, if it has it and the existing bolts passes right by then the OEM will fit on the same spot.

it has civic on the bottom, for some reason the previous owner put a EX spoiler on it. i am wanting to switch back to a SI spoiler. it has civic on the underneath side of it behind the 3rd light. i am worried about there being a place on the trunk lid where the paint has faded after 9+ years. looks like the mounts on the SI spoiler are more "flat" on the lid. on mine it is more of a triangle design....
