Default So howd this guy do this?

This question might be more suited for Audio/Visual Electronics but idk....

So last night i was at the High School parking lot and this truck rolled up. My friend walked over to the truck and started talking to this guy, it musta been his freidn or somethin, but the truck turned his haedlights off, then all the sudden in the middle of his headlights, it musta been a single LED bulb started flashing. It flashed green, then blue, then red. There was a bulb in each headlights, and they flashed in sync, both to the same colors. Anyone know how this could be done? I think he also had LED bulbs on his interior that pulsed at the same time as the LEDs in the headlighst to the same color as well. I've never seen it before in my life, and it looks really good. Ideas?

OR you drill holes in the back of the headlights and then put an LED in it, you can get little dials to set the speeds/when they flash

Yea you can buy a 194 led conversion bulb that is a seven color unit that slowly cycles thru it's colors. I'm with everybody else I'd do strobes, tho cops wouldn't be too happy

well problem with most cheap color changing leds is they dont stay insink! ive had some before and ended up geting a warning for them cause they where 7color leds and wouldnt ya know it one was on red and the other on blue when i cop was comen head on and pulled me over for them.LOL

id also say strobes would be beter.. just use some good strobes!

but i do like the single color led in the headlight housings... those look preaty cool....

i had them on my old jimmy but the ones i had conected to the alarm system so they blinked those things where preaty cool little toy

i wanna put some green leds into my headlight housings eventualy.

can someone explain strobe headlighst or give me a link to a video/picture of them? I have no clue what they are, unless you're talking about just having strobe lights in your headlights, which seems pretty ridiculous. lol

strobe lights are about the size of nickles or quarters.... ya drill holes into wheere ever you want them and stick em in... headlights, taillights, parking lights... whatever!
