I am wanting to get a really nice spoiler for my 97 Hx. If you guys have any good recommendations or sites please tell me about them.

 

my best suggestion to you (and i know the other people who are going to respond to this) is to stay with no spoiler, or just not go big. a stock SI spoiler is nice, if you can see mine...thats all you need.

 

dito... if you do wanna add a spoiler go with a stock spoiler..

 

did someone say aluminum airplane wing??? lol.

 

alot of people give complements on the "air plane aluminum wing" i dunno it is kinda crazy but if its not a real big one and looks good on the car i dont see whats so bad about it... and like i said i get alot of commplements on mine =)

 

here's whats kinda bad. Its ok if you like it, but im just telling you what the majority at this forum think:
1) it has no purpos, on a rear wheel drive car it adds traction to the drive wheels (if its a well designed one). But on a front wheel drive car it doesn't matter
2)it reduces gas mileage
3) it reduces speed through drag (at high speeds)
4) a big one labels you "RICER"

it's like looking back and seeing all those bad haircuts and outfits you used to wear.

also another BAD... if you wanna remove it you have some big holes in your car to fill afterwards!!!!!!

 

i would not go with a wing, but to each his own. you can goto my gallery and i had one on my orange car. i hated it to death and i took it off and filled the holes. if you get one look at the m3 wings too. those arent bad at all. with a civic all the wing is for is show because they dont help any. its your car so you do what you want with it man, dont let people tell you what to do and what not to do.

 

some wings look nice, it all depends on the car i think..something small and sleek is always good, i like the stock wing as well
