Default steering wheel

this is my first post on here, iv got an EJ9 (basically an EK) 96 civic, i tried to change my steering wheel to an aftermarket one, i ripped my standard one off and the steering boss didnt fit. i tried another 3 honda steering bosses and they didnt fit. it was made by a company called mountney, dont think you get them over in the states. i was just wondering if anyones come up against the same problem as me? i really want to get rid of the standard steering wheel coz its enormous! any help would be greatly appreciated.

i know when i did my steering wheel i had a airbag the only company that made a hub was momo and i was getting a grant wheel so i had to get the harness to mate the two of them together but i also got the grant lock out device and when i put all of them together it was way to long so i had to go to a machine shop to get something to work

Try the mountney one I have, think the code ends in 888. Then you can get a hella cool leather momo wheel like mine for your lawnmower!

the 1 i got was 333x or something, mountney said they dont deal with any cars that have airbags! its not a lawnmower, its my first car so i cant afford a vtec like you. i didnt even know you had a different steering wheel in yours. (stop saying hella, its not big and its not clever)

Actually come to think of it mine may be the 333x one, so try that. Ive told you before just swap your engine for a d16 then go from there. Now go to the new members forum and introduce yourself properly. Theres a good noob!
