Default Stupid Little Dents!

I got a 97 civic and over 11 years as we all know it gets little dents. I took it to a body shop that ive used before and the quoted me.... are you ready... $3,494.. now i know it takes time and all but holy S**T!
theres nothing big, just little *** dents and a few deep scratches. SO i was wondering if anyone has any experience with those dent poppers they sell? i heard they actually work pretty well on small jobs. Also I was wondering if anyone knows of any good places in maryland that wont blow my wallet to pieces?

No way. Me and my friend tried using one of those and honestly it sucked!!! It didnt pull the dent at all, it actually made two more dents around it. We tried one time before that on my dads truck and it didnt do anything.

Yeah dents suck, Id say no more than 1500 to 2000 to repaint a car nice including body work.

Look for one of those dent wizard shops (or shops like it). it's paintless painless dent removal.

I've got no experience, but I'll be looking into it with my 97 EX. Same **** different car, bro. Good luck

My experience has been very good with them. Having an 88 hatch in Nor Cal for the better part of it's life, you can only imagine the micro dents my baby has gotten. The dent popper doesn't take care of the problem entirely for most of them, but it noticeably reduced the majority of them and I was stoked on how much better it looked. Sorry about your experience BillyB98. Good luck Kurt.

Maaco will get rid of a few small dents for relatively cheap
They will suck out 90% of the dent then use fiberglass to make it look perfect
then paint over it of course.

My cars at Maaco right now, I'll let you know how it goes, with before and after pics.

$3,494 sounds like a lot but if you were doing the work how much would you charge? You have to figure your paying for a total repaint basically because you can't just fix and paint the dented areas, or your car would look like a spotted leapord! Why do you think they total out hail cars 99.9% of the time? Same reasoon too much time in labor. As for dent pullers I've tried the "ding king" it just adds more dents to the car. I would use a hammer and dolley or a electric stud puller...just me though=-)

No matter what, 3k is way too much for that work!!! I have been quoted for whole body paint and dent removal at 4 places, the highest was 1900 bucks. Maaco is a good cheap solution.

Trythis it works every once and a while and its worth a shot. I tried it on a dent on my car it didnt pop it all theway but it made it about half the size.
