ya i see what you where trying to do. but IMO tinted taillights just dont look very good on silver civics. now on black or other dark color civics it looks pretty sweet!
ya get a A+ for custom thinking.... i just dont think it goes to well on a silver car.

ive thought about modifying my stock tails on my 96civic which i just put in 99-00tails but ive thought of doing some custom lighting inside the lower clear section in the outter taillights and just painting the red sections to match the car.
but the cost of the lights sucks to have it look right. so i dont think ill actualy do it! at least not anytime soon.

I can agree with you on the three civics in the back being a little much but that could be fixed with taking off the chrome emblem or coming up with something else to put in the lights.
I have to disagree with you about tint not looking good on a silver car, other than black I would say it looks best on silver. My car is silver with dark rims, black housed headlights and I think it contrasts will with the silver, I do want to paint my sideskirts silver though

Now with that said I am going to put them back to stock because I don't like how dim the lights are and I don't like anything else but stock

paint the rims black too and keep the tails black - they look tight
