Default taillights

well guys, this sucks. i was trying to take my nightshade tint off today because i was gonna go back to the stock look of red/white and i guess i used something i wasnt suppose to....uhh paint remover. yea, my dad suggested that and i tried it on one edge of the taillight and it didnt do anything so i was like ok this works. well i did it to all them and now they are just MESSED UP!! white crap all over them and just screwed. i might be able to fix them but it will take a while. i think im just gonna order me another set of taillights. i dunno what though. i really do like stock ones and all but these kinda appeal to me too - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CIVIC...64226054QQrdZ1
i know, they are "sort of" altezzas but i dunno what to get. whats your opinions on them though?

I've got THESE tails on my civic and I personally love how they look, but I'd say if you wanted the led tails for sure than they make a LED version . I think the oe style lights look alot better on civic's than any of the altezza style round pod lights.

Here is a pic of how they look installed on my car:

^Ebay also has those with the colors flipped. Red top, white bottom......look nice. =)
jhsplaya....those lights are pretty nice. But, a little expensive.....u sure? You can
probably find better ones or same ones for a cheaper price if you keep searching.

dont give up searching when you found that pair....because that happend to me when
i bought my "meatball" euros.......i got them for about 80 and 2 weeks later i found the
same tail lights for half the price....so keep looking

yea i was just posting the link to them. well im leaning more towards those because there IS a possibility i can fix my stock ones with some time and effort ( which i just dont feel like doing ), and plus, ive never had a set of these and i have saw them on one car before and thought they looked alright. i was just wondering if you hated them and gonna hate me for getting them (not literally....lol)

I will hate you for putting those on your car.

...not really, but I do hate the taillights. You should really just get the OEM red/white ones, best looking taillights for a civic, hands down..

^^^ +1/2 i despise those tails.....please dont get them lol dont try and fix the paint thinned ones, no good can come from that (crazy to use paint thinner in the first place!) just get some new stockers, or at least something less flashy than those spaceship signal lights

You got a link for those red top white bottom? cause the ones he linked are for a 92-95 coupe. and the only ones i have seen for a 92-95 coue/hatchback or sedan are white top red bottom.

But if you see/know whee to get red top white bottom for a 92-95 coupe/hatchback let me know asap

I have had good luck with aftermarket lights, I have a set of the "meatball" lookin Alltezza's and they do what I need them to do, on a black car they look ok, but they were like 30 bucks and I had one of them not even working at all. I would favor a set of the type R white lookin stock lights anyday, and sometime soon I will probably get some, but for now, ebay was the answer.

Most of them come with new seals and all of that, so they are pretty solid, no matter what you buy, but it does seem like most of these new LED items comming out seem to fail after a while, so be looking for one side to go out or something to go wrong.
