Tint stories and degree

I want to know how the majority of cops are with dark tints, and what percent tints u have to see what will look good on my car.
Plus im bored so some good stories would be good.[sm=guilty.gif]

I have 20% all around and I have only been pulled over in my civic 2 times.... as soon as I get pulled over I roll down both the side windows all the way down and the cops never ask to see them...

No I got pulled over for not having my license on the front but he didnt see it on my dash. I have not recieved a ticket yet! The second time was because he thought I was someone else and let me go immediately... he pulled up while I was driving up my driveway!

i have 35% on my msp and I am satisfied with it. It is the legal limit here in MD and when I went to get my car inspected they put a sticker in all my windows verifying that it was 35% I will post a pic here in a second.

as always... consult your local laws before doing things like tints, adding lights etc.

i've got to get mine done soon... will be going 35% which is the legal limit in the 4 states i frequent (CT, MA, MD, VA)

Upstate NY - Legal is 70% all around except back window -- I have 20% all around.. looks good. Paid about $200.. I've been pulled over three times since I got it in the end of July:
-- once for my fiance not wearing a seat belt - we stopped at a stop sign and he was sitting next to us and she had her window down - no comment on tints.
-- once for 78mph in a 65mph - he pulled me over for speeding then noticed my tints, then noticed I hadn't changed my address on my license since I've moved - Could have received three tickets but let me off with one for tints -- $25 fee / $35 processing fees?!?!
-- once for headlight being out - no comment on tints.

I am going to guess that if you aren't doing anything real stupid they aren't going to say anything about the tints and that if pulled you over for something that they don't really want to give you a ticket for they will fall back on the tints (at least where I am from).

Okay i got a 35% tint and i was playing with the idea of going darker. I like soldouts712's 12% tint and was wondering what other degree of tint should i get over my 35% to get closer to that?
